Champion's Corner
#1
It seemed as though some people's champions deserved the chance to hang out a little bit. Rather than confining them to the comments section of pages, I've decided to make a little corner here for them.

If you've created a champion, feel free to RP them here. If you don't have a character but want to RP, just run your idea by me (hurrocksfardel@gmail.com) and we will get you set up.

Other characters from Hurrocks Fardel may swing by if the Champions feel like chatting.

Eira, in her normal garb, including armor, enters the room and takes a warrior's at-ease stance. Her hand is on her sword hilt, just resting. For now, she is without a member of her Guard.

(I thought I'd go first, and keep it simple until someone else pops up. Big Grin All info on swan maidens/valkyries and the Moon Archetype [as far as what I've come up with] can be found here, and then about Eira here. If you want to talk to any of the Guard, let me know. If you go to the top of the page, hover over Extra Projects, then Hurrocks Fardel, you'll get a complete list of the Guard.)

Drake is sulking in the corner. Aside from his ears twitching when she enters, he doesn't knowledge Eira.

(Sorry ahead of time. Drake is going to be his usual grumpy self.)

Noticing his reaction (and subsequent ignoring), Eira rolls her eyes upward. "Moon's sake, Drake." She grimaces at her own accidental rhyme, but recovers quickly, looking down her nose at him a little. "Are you going to act like a child or a Champion?"

(No worries. Eira is dragon baiting. I don't know WHY, maybe she's crazier than I thought...)

The unicorn-Champion was already in the room, and - as per usual - keeping quiet and out of the way. However, his interest was perked with the entrance of Eira, and he respectfully bowed his head as she entered. Although it wasn't actually in his nature, he was feeling slightly mischievous today, and threw in his two cents before Drake had a chance to answer.

"I have a feeling that either way, Drake is Drake."

He took a sip of the water he'd been nursing, and eyed the woman warily. He didn't have much of an idea what, exactly, the Lunar lady found funny. Perhaps his sense of humor might not be appreciated. In the sort of mood he was currently, it was a bit on the crass side. Even Healing had bad days.

(Sorry about him. XD Also, I can change to present-tense if you need me to edit this. I'm just so used to past-tense. XD)

He was here. Hell, he was there, and there, too. Actually no, he hadn't moved one bit, he'd dipped into the special stash a little sooner then expected, but that was expected anyway, for the Champion of Revelry? He'd been here maybe an hour, or longer, two? Six? Hell, what'd it matter?

The satyr seemed more then happy to just chillax, noting Drake, the others. He blinked.

"Uhh...Shit. How long've you all been here?" Trevor questions, rifling around in his pocket. "...Wait, how long have I been here? I didn't miss the party, did I?"

Sprawled on a sofa nearby was what appeared to be a bunch of black feathers. They shifted as the pair of black wings folded a bit to reveal short sandy fur. A feline tail twitched and the sphinx finally decided to give up on her attempt at napping. Sierra sat up, stretching. "I wasn't expecting it to get so busy..." Her large green eyes looked around at the others about as her ears turned towards any source of noise. The champion's attire was a simple undyed cotton shirt with a brown pair of cotton pants.

She looked to the Satyr, "I have no idea how long everyone's been here. I've been asleep."

[Hello, everyone. I have been getting this character approved with Daidaishar. Her name is Sierra and she is the Champion of Fate. She was born during the Information age. Thought that might help anyone who wants to gauge whether or not they might have met her.]

Drake turns to look directly at Eira after her comment, but as Aylis answers before he can, he limits himself to a sneer at the Lunar Champion. His tail flicks back and forth in irritation a few times before he turns towards Revelry's champion.

"Trevor, one of these days your lack of situational awareness is going to get you into trouble."

(apparently Drake is in a bit of a funk, hello Stella and welcome)

Sierra's ears perked up at Drake's voice, laughing at what he said to Trevor, "He's right, Trevor. I was sleeping. What's your excuse?" She grinned, only joking with the satyr.

Her tail flicked as she turned her gaze to Drake, "How've you been, Drake?"

Drake's posture relaxes a little. "I'd be careful about where I sleep too Sierra. I know I'm not the only one who has been the victim of Oliver's penchant for pranks on sleeping friends. No one has dyed my hair strange colors recently, so I suppose I can't complain."
